I got a question

I recently got a hatch with p28 on a d16 motor the car
Before was turbo with bigger injectors and a chipped ecu
They took the turbo and injectors off and made it an
All motor with high compression pistons and all but with
Ecu map they had for turbo when I drive it normal it drives
Perfect but when I try full throttle it cuts out and starts smoking
Blue could that be that I need to remap the ecu to my stock injectors
Or could I fix that problem meanwhile with a fuel pressure reg set at 45??
Meanwhile I get it remapped or is it something else??

I agree with what SpeedBoi said....

It doesn't matter what you do to the motor it will behave weird until a tuner tune the ECU/car again with the new motor setup.

But a better idea is to start with a stock ECU.

i chip ecus and as long as the chip is reburnable i can put on a new map for you, only a basemap but the car will run alot better
