Need help with limp mode please!!!!

Hello I have a 94 integra gsr, its all stock. Recently it ran low on oil and the engine shut off( i'm not the one that drives it everyday plus the gaskets are old and leaking). The check engine light came on before it shut off. I jumped the diagnostic connection and turned the key to the second on position, however, it did not flash any codes at all. No flash, the light came one when i turned the key and then just went out and stayed out. When you turn the engine on the CEL comes on and the engine will not rev past 3k. I've read that this is limp mode because a sensor went dead, but it won't flash any codes when i check it, so i then found that that meant the ecu was toast. Come to find out it had a p06 ecu in it so i got a virgin p72 and installed it but its still the same. Any tips, thoughts???? any help would be appreciated. Also i do not think it is the dist.

yes please ive tried reseting the ecu but hasnt worked.

Unplug map censer and if it reves past 3 grand then that was it mine did it cause of a simple map!!!

giving your car some viagra via the gas tank should help with limpness

check you intake air temp sensor or map sensor

I had this prob a few yrs ago with my car i forget exactly which cause its been a while but it ended up bein the ecu or dizzy that i replaced to fix the limp mode
