  • Window problem

Thanks for looking in advanced. Okay so my passenger window stopped working one day while I was rolling it up. All the plugs have power but for some reason it won't work. I checked and replaced all bad fuses, I even bought another mltor but that wasn't the problem. I'm using a test light and it has power.

I know the civic ek coupes are known for the window falling off track from the molding. It will roll up and down but get stuck about 3-5 inches before it closes. Not sure if it applies to the eg coupes. Try holding the switch down and pulling down on the window to see if it was jammed. Then take a look at the window while it goes up (inside the door by the side mirror) to see if its inside the molding or in front of it. If it did pop out, it will stop when the window edge reaches the side mirror because it can't clear the molding. You would have to remove the panel and loosen the 10mm bolt that secures that molding and pull it away from the window and try to pop it back in. Hopefully this is your problem and hoping this helps.
