Failed CT emissions AGAIN

I'm a shop manager but am emission testing certified so I run cars through all the time

take the car to the emissions place in bpt next to kfc by the dmv
theyll pass anybody, they passed my boys k20 with a 3inch and no cat

anything 96 or newer has and obd scan as the emissions. car can be 1000hp but if the ecu is throwing a light or you cleared the cel and then come in it will fail. theres no way to fudge it

Looks like its time for a new 02 my freind. Hit up corsport I think they got the cheapest replacement. I got mine from them , I had the same issue. My o2 shit the bed when I was supercharged. Haven't had an issue with the turbo setup using the same o2. Almost 2 yrs with it now, try clubrsx too and compare prices

try changing out the o2 sensor, you can pass emission whether your check engine light is on or off, just depends who u go to. my b20 was lights all day but as long as i had a cat and a working o2 sensor i was good. i was suprised i passed cuz it wasn't running the way it was supposed to

first off they dont put obd2 on runners. Also you cannottttttt have any check engine lights on. All they do is plug the obd2 port to there system and let it idle. The system checks for engine roughness and if the o2 sensors work. Thats it nothing special to them. I passed with my 08 si with no cat and boosted with flying colors

Yup Yup. I just went. Custom 3in exhaust no cat different motor, turbo, and passed with flying colors. Gota love kpro
