I havent had a car go threw emissions in years. It takes over a year for them to suspend a registration due to emissions failure

ive heard that too. But ive never kept a car for more than a couple months so i cant confirm.

Ive registered 400hp hatches with open down pipes and 1000cc injectors before, just go, fail, and go back to DMV with the failure slip, and they will give you hard plates

I already have hard plates. I've been the owner since it came off the freighter. Its passed before with flying colors. This is the first time i go to emissions with the swap. Two years ago after I passed, i did the swap that Friday.
Didn't get a chance to work on the car this weekend. I was fixing transmission cooler line troubles in my daily: Subaru Legacy. Fixed that, so after work I'm heading to the auto parts store and get a replacement.

Check this out: Napa wants to change me $400+ on a OEM honda replacement primary o2 sensor. Advance Auto wants about $200 for a Bosch replacement.

it must be an air/fuel ratio sensor instead of a regular o2 sensor. the air/fuel sensors are stupid expensive.

replace your o2 drive the car for around 100 miles then if the light stays off it should pass, be careful flashing out o2 sensors, sometimes the computer will detect that and you will get a letter a few months later requiring you to go through again . I run a shop over in farmington.I can answer any questions you guys have related to emissions.
