help vtec idle prob?????

hi guys i have a 94 vtec d16 i cleaned the throtle body, checked for vac leaks,took off high idle..tightened the wax thing for air flow..ive cleaned and checked every thing......... any thoughts?

i wont idle, or idles high, or the idle fluctuates? what are the exact symptoms?

idle fluctuates from like 1000rpms to 2000rpms plus if i touch the throtle it revs right to like 2500rpms

u havent done any cooling system work lately have u? or ur not low on coolant cuz of a leak or something? ur iac (idle air control) valve works from coolant flowing through it. if ur coolant is low or u jsut did like a radiator or something it could affect the idle. or the iac could just be bad

i did replace the thermostat cuz i was told it could be the prob..pluss replaced a bad hose my next thing is to run it in the morning to get any air out ..was seeing if any on had any diff info....things i can check in case that dont work

bleed the cooling system. the idle is gonna fluctuate for a lil while until the coolant gets to the iac valve... if that doesnt help could still be just a spent iac valve... good luck man.
