p75 chipped ecu problem

i put the chip in ma self to save money.. i had it made for my setup.. problem is that it goes up to 3500 rpms like a 2step, i told the tuner to do that.. and than when i drive it.. it gets no power.. lik bout to shut off..

you prolly fucked up putting the chip in. it's prolly in limp mode

Most likely messed up the board. That or when you desoldered it or soldered the socket/chip in, you may have jumped two contacts to each other.

no. but if your basemap isn't correct you could be dumping way too much fuel because you have 440's which would flood it and cause it to run like shit and have a lack of power. Also does your speed sensor work? because if not then thats why it is reving out at 3500 because your ecu doesn't realize the car is moving and is staying at 2 step.

And I remember you saying you put your 440's in it with a stock ecu and it wouldn't start. Thats because the duty cycles are set for 240's. So you are putting a injector in that is basically double the size but aren't changing the duty cycles which would cause it to flood. So fi you didn't change your plugs they are prolly still all fucked up which would help it run like shit.
