auto vtec ?

i have the head,oil and water pump and the rods off of a d16z6 will bolt right up to a d16y8 non vtec and is there a auto v ecu its my girls car...motors shot and i cant expariment with it because she needs it to get a round and i have these parts laying around so i would appriciate it if anyone has any info

no i dont want to put a ls or anything else in it dont want to change mounts n shit just motor in and out and i know i would have to change the harnes or sensors for the head

d16y8 always came Vtec.. I never heard of a d16y8 being not vtec. Maybe you are talking about the d16y7 motor which is a non vtec motor. But please explain what you want to do a little bit better, and maybe i can help you out. Instead of explaining one thing from another. Good luck.
