Hondata tuners?

There is a Hondata tuner in Fairfield called JK Motorsports. Anyone know somebody that has had a tune done there ir if they're any good? Looking to see if there's anyone legit in the 203 (or CT period) that is reputable for Hondata tuning and I saw their name on Hondata's website.

before someone else chops ur head off for it, trust me , Dave is reputable.... If it needs tuning, Dave can do it, no matter if it be AEM, Hondata, WHATEVER, and he gets it done and done RIGHT

I think dave has a tuner degree and he diff got ALOT of car under his belt

i'm asking a question about a shop. i'm not asking about dave. this has got nothing to do with dave. i'm asking if anyone has had any experience at this place. so if you haven't been to this place PLEASE DON'T RESPOND! if you have never been there then obviously you don't know what you're talking about anyways

I have heard good things about dave, but unfortunately he could not tune with the Hondata s200 I had. He said he could do the s300 or I could go with Chrome. I really did not want to switch to Chrome or dish out more money right now for the s300 so I stuck with my s200.

I contacted JK because they were listed as an authorized tuner on the Hondata site, but they seemed to busy to really care.

I then saw on this site and on Honda-Tech that there was someone with a dyno and could do Hondata tuning in Bridgeport...D&G Auto (Greg). he was willing to tune pretty much anytime that I wanted. I was there just last night and had my car tuned. My setup needs some more fuel i.e. bigger injectors so it was a rather conservative tune.
also, if you do go the place is at a Shell gas station...very easy to miss it!

thanks for the info. i did call them but i got the same impression. they seemed pretty busy. usually thats a good thing which is why i asked about them. i will be looking to get either an s100 or an s200. i'm no longer a big fan of crome either (if i was ever going to go the chip burning route again i would rather go with ectune).

no no...he can tune, but if you have a specific tuner you want to use he will rent it out to you.

I called tuesday afternoon and set up a time for 5:00 last night. so he was willing to fit me in and work with me

i dont know about all that i feel he plays fovorites
he tuned both of my cars numerous times and i still had problems...and i know a guy that had dave tune his car cause his tuner is in jersy and he was being lazy he ended up going to jersy anyways after dave tuned it and when he got there the tune was way off and running rich...and free'd up 25 more horse im going to el gato its worth the 450 my boy leon's car is a beast ran 10.4

that dude greg is an ok tuner he has the crx that was all done.................... i really wouldn't have either of these two dude's do it ............. the question i would ask myself is how long is it gonna last if dave or greg tune it
