  • 5 Lug vs 4 Lug

    was plannin to go five lug on my db8 integra but one of my friends told me its wayy heavier then my gsr 4 lug setup and i dont believe him since its only an extra stud and slightly bigger brakes

    i just want to know is there really that much of a difference in weight like he claims

        you said it your self thats 4 more studs plus bigger brakes and hubs. all that= more weight but also better stopping power

              Yes it's Deff heavier. My boy (who had 5 lug before) said you can feel the heaviness when u drive. Honda made 4 lug to save weight and also to save costs for us/other countries models. If you looking for power 4 lug is the way to go

                  for every 1 pound of unsprung weight is equivalent to 9 pounds of Rotational mass.

                            Just being honest. It's not that serious. You add a little weight but get better braking. If you want to be a wheel whore with rotas/konigs/and drages then stay 4 lug tho.

                              But honestly who gives a shit 50 lbs or whatever, all the shit people be putting on the car that is pointless puts on weight too and doesn't make it faster.. Think about systems, pointless bars, etc it doesn't matter.. If your worried about weight , boost, nos or k and that 50lbs or whatever won't even matter..
