coilover to stock

alright so idk how to explain this and this is probebly a dumb question but i want to make sure since i havent delt with coilovers....my DA has rear (no name brand) coilovers and im putting on all around new stock struts but i have the new strut and spring not assembled...and (idk the name) but its the top piece of the strut that hold the spring and strut togeather...it also has the 3 nuts that go into the car so i can tighten it down.... i dont have new ones of those will i need them to complete the aftermarket to stock swap?or will the coilover ones fit the stock assembly which would be a lot easier...but if not what is the name of those pieces cuz i need them asap lmk

They are called "top hats" you can buy aftermarket ones on eBay.the aftermarket ones are better then stock.you will blow your stock struts in no time with coil overs sleeves. You should have spent the money on aftermarket struts. O yea and no name "eBay" coils suck. They are bouncy as shit lol.

no i have all new springs and struts so im swapping the coilovers for an all new assembly but what i dont have is stock top hats....so the coilover top hats wont fit a stock assembly? (and my DA came with the coilovers i didnt put them on)
