Ej1 brake help

So I've recently picked up my coupe. It has been fondled but my problem lies in the brakes. I took it to my tech n he said he couldn't get a caliper for it (my driver side one is shot). How would I find out what caliper I need so I can supply him with the right parts or info? To say I had teggy front brakes (hypothetically) what kinda caliper would I be lookin for? He even said he checked the castin #s n couldn't get a match...I need to get this done ASAP so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Car info- 95 civic ex coupe

Y don't u go to napa or carquest?? They deff gotta have it lol and change ur brake fluid while ur at it soo u have some fresh fluid

Your best bet is to go to the parts store with the caliper and match it up just try civic,integra etc

My tech tried that, even autozone, none of the calipers matched the one on my car. He'll be doin fresh fluids when I can get the right parts

I'm pretty sure. I could be wrong tho. How can I find out?

post a pic of the caliper. if it is a EX it sould be the same for a si and a DC intagra. the DX have differnt ones.

Ex with abs will have same caliper as integra94-01 if your car has rear disc brakes factory it's most likely an abs car

So instead of my mechanic tryin to find the right caliper or determine if it's abs or not he just rebuilt the caliper lol. Lazy bastard.

Wouldn't he still need to know if it's abs or not to even rebuild it?
