First time: lowering springs help

Whats up Ctv, im currently putting my skunk 2 lowering springs on my stock EG struts. I've only gotten up to putting the front springs on, however wen I put the Allen wrench in and tighten the 14 mm nut the spring doesn't fit as tight in the strut assembly. Is it suppose to be loose until the body of the weight is dropped on? Or is there a way to have these springs for more snug on the assembly?

Honestly they should be snug no movement but I have drove on loose springs from the strut not a biggie when u lower the car the weight pushed the piston down nd thus compressing the spring

How could I make the springs fit tighter?
