  • Rear LCA bolt SNAPPED!!!

So, when I first attempted to remove the rear shocks I managed to snap the head off of the seized bolt that connects it to the lca. 3/4 of the bolt was still holding so i left it as it was (stupid move). Now it has wiggled loose and is only being held by the side with the nut...any suggestions? I cant seem to find the bolt to replace it so my only option at this time is the DEALER. Thanks for any input...

F u c k all that non sense. I have seen this problem day in & day out. The cheap easy way to fix it, is to take a wrench or socket to the welded on nut & break it off, then use a hammer & punch to bang out the remains of the broken bolt. Then, get a new bolt & nut, and call it a day. If the bolt is frozen to the LCA bushing sleeve, then you will have to drill out the bolt or, remove the affected LCA, press out the old bushing & replace with a new bushing then just get the new bolt. The LCA bolt is a dealer part only, but I have quite a few laying around in my garage. I can do the repair if you want. LMK
