  • clutch pedal adjustment?

ok I have an eg ex coupe when shifting it feels like its hard to get into gear like I have to force it in... and when shifting it doesn't feel smooth like it should you can feel it pop out when you shift from gear to gear....

Here is what I've tried so far:

    Changed tranny fluid
Loosened the bolt that holds the short shifter

I was told I probably need to adjust the clutch pedal because it grabs extremely low

Mind you my car was auto and I swapped it to 5 speed so I believe it has something to do with the pedals adjustment...

    Any1 have any input?

Any1 know how to adjust the clutch pedal? Lmk I need it done asap

Well if u look under ur dash where the clutch master pins into the pedal assembly there is a bracket with a nut on the back side loosen the nut take out the pin twist the bracket to the desired length u want the pedal assembly to sit at the pit the pin back in then tighten the nut back up nd then see if ur clutch grabs the way u want BUT FIRST BLEED UR CLUTCH AGAIN ND IF U NEED PIX OF THE BRACKET ND PIN ND SHIT I GOT U

Where you located? I can come fix that issue for you.

If it isnt the pedal it may be internal in the trans.

Hard to get into gear doesnt mean the pedal isnt traveling enough to fully depress the pressure plate.

If the car is a single, those trans are notorius for having issues with not going into gear.

                Hit me up 203-215-8996.

I don't think its the tranny cause it doesn't grind or pop out.. and the car it came out of had no issues of the sort

Stick your head under the dash on the rod for the clutch there is a adjuster nut
