  • Which Coilover Would Be The Best?

I'm thinking about upgrading my suspension and I'm trying to decide on what coilovers to get.

What's the difference between Skunk2 Pro-C Coilovers and the Skunk2 Pro-S II Coilovers? They seem to be virtually identical to me but I'm not a really a suspension expert so I don't know all of the differences. Are the Pro-C's really worth the extra money over the Pro-S II's?

Also how are the Tein Basic Damper's?

I'm going to also be installing Function7 LCA's, ASR Subframe Brace and either an ASR 24mm rear sway bar or a Civic Type-R 22mm rear sway bar (which would you guys suggest out of those two?) so which of the 3 coilovers would be best to run with that setup? I'm also thinking of adding a Beaks lower tie bar and if I were to do that I could still run a sway bar or would I even need to run a sway bar? This is a daily driver that I'm just looking to lower and get better handling out of. I'm not going to be tracking it or anything like that.

Also my car is a DX so I don't think it has a front sway bar on it. Do I need to also add a front sway bar so that I don't have massive over or understeer (I know with the rear suspension setup that I'm already going to have some understeer to begin with)? If I do what size and brand would you recommend?

the pro Cs are fully adjustable, height is adjusted by the lower mount screwing up and down and adjustable damper too. the S everything is preset and i think the height is adjusted by the spring which isnt great and not a comfortable ride. if you want more adjustability in the Pro S price range just get Ksports or D2s

Are Ksports or D2's any good? I'd looked at them but I wasn't sure of their quality since I hadn't seen a lot posted about them online.

basically if you have the money go with teins, but if your on a budget Ksport and D2 are good quality. suppossedly a few years back there were problems with the ksports blowing out but they fixed the issues

Are you sure the problem with the K2's is fixed now because I really like the look of those and was leaning towards them.

I would love to buy Super Streets but I don't know if they'll be in my price range unless I wait until when it's starting to get to the summer time.

Also what's the difference between coilovers with pillow mounts and ones without? Is one better to buy then the other? Oh and let's say I saved up my money and went with Ten Super Streets is it worth buying the EDFC and what exactly does that do besides let you electronically control the dampening from inside the car? Is that something to buy if you buy those coilovers? Obviously I'm a suspension noob lol.

i had a civic with D2 suspension.36 way adjustable ,so u can go from soft/medium/stiff ride..in my opinion they are nice suspension..omni is great also but they are discontinued. i heard k sport is good but i also felt how crappy k sport gets in time so i wouldnt even bother with k sport.
