  • Suspension for EK HATCH?!

Basically im new to this and need your opinions on what's best for my daily driver hatchback.

Its a 96 ek hatch and Im going to purchase some tokico blues in a few days.

My question is would tokico blues and tein s tech springs match up well? Would the drop be to much for the struts to handle causing them to blow/bottom out any sooner?

Or should i just use the tokico blues with the red springs that the whole set comes with? If anyone has any of these set ups please let me know what you think.

    so to make it short

tokico blues+ s techs vs tokico blues + tokico springs.

    thanks.

UPDATE: probably just going to use the whole tokico set so have some brand new Tein s tech springs for sale as soon as i take them off my car this week (were installed on my car and used car to drive like 3 miles otherwise has been sitting in my back yard) HAVE RECEIPTS FOR PROOF!

A few of my boys have tokico struts with the tein s springs and the cars ride fine. Ones on a 5th gen h22 prelude and ones on a ep3 SI. IDK about an EK hatch but go for it, couldnt hurt it.

well my brother did the same set up on his '02 Maxima and the shocks didnt last too long. i think the tokico blues aren't meant for a drop no more than 1.5 inches...

edit: this is referring to the tokico blues with the s-techs

Had tokiko blues on my old eg with Neuspeed race and I hated the ride. Not to mention they blew after like 5 months.GC/Koni yellow is the best setup.Function & Forms are pretty good too.
