  • good spring on stock strut?

My eBay coilovers blew the strut out of course.. But I want to keep my car lowered nice and so it won't bounce any more because I have a feeling my back isn't taking it good. Is there a good lowering spring I can buy that will work fine on the stock strut? Or is there a deal that I can buy some springs with an aftermarket strut like tockico (spell check?)

If any one can help me out I'd appreciate it! Thanks,

    -Matt.

A 1'' drop will be alright on stock struts for awhile, but ultimately you need better struts to handle the recoil rate of aftermarket springs.

A better strut/shock meaning one with more aggressive valving and less travel or a shortened body. Try to find something that is second hand and done properly vs. throwing some money to sit low and have to replace it again because it wasn't done right imo. Probably can find some second hand ground controls with koni's for a good price.

Tein s.tech lowering springs. Them baby's handle hard, and they lower you car 1-2inches and it wont blow your stock struts. I had several friends run this spring on stock struts, and still haven't blown nothing at all, and it really hugs the road good. Hope you find what you are looking for.
