  • 5 lug conversion on civic

how hard is to do a 5 lug conversion on a 99 civic without having to buy the ITR suspension??

there must be a custom way to do it...

was thinking on getting some spare spindles and taking them to a machine shop to be sealed and re-drilled 5x114 but the spindle is obviously too small for that diameter...

    any suggestion?

Crv front hubs r the same as jdm itr fronts nd itr rear hubs if u already have rear disk is s cheap way if goin 5lug just remember u probably will spend the same amount as just buying 5lug from the beginning

U can google for you answers.I have looked it up before and there is a combination of parts from different cars that u can use to make it work. I think that honda-tech is the best site for your answers.Everyone in PR is rockin 5 lug machine shop status lol. They only charge $250 to make your hubs 5 lug out there

it can be done at a machine shop but remember 5 lug is nice but its got is purpose the rotors and calipers in the r are bigger thats one and when u drille the ones that are 4x100 to make them 5x114.3 they work but always shake on the highway and when i say shake they really do lol it looks good but its not reliable.. glwui

Exactly.. i dont feel like spending 1,200 on a ITR suspension... and wheels is ok i usually put 1 set and the car will die with the same wheels... not a wheel whore...

As for the highway vibration.. thats a no no... cant have vibrations on my car...

Crv hubs... i might try that... i always can experiment with sponsored junkyard parts..

Itr suspension is no more than 800... As far as crv hubs uhave to get special axels cuz the hubs are 36mm or have ur axels made...
