  • need info air compressors

    can someone point me in the right direction? im looking to buy an air compressor this weekend but im not really sure wat to look for.. i just need it for simpleish work on my car but need to run an impact gun n air ratchet and other smaller things.. wat is something i could use for that? like will a 100-150$$ one cut it or do i need bigger? any info would be greatly appreciated

    26-30 gallon is what u should get. U can prolly find 1 used off sumbody for like$200 but new i think like $300

      well imo i was thinking that would be tooo big lol.. my friend has a little one maybe 4 gallons max and works fine. idk i could be wrong tho.. thanks tho.. anyone else have any suggestions?

        btw im not getting one to like run a shop or run alot of air constantly just something for small work on just my car

          i have a 26 gallon cambell hausfield i get alot of work done with that and doesnt take much room at all... and i also have a 80 gallon porter cable compressor but thats not at all what u need lol

            if you don't mind the compressor running all the time a small one will work as long as it has 100-150 psi output and the CFM output that your air tools want, the bigger the compressor, usually the less time it runs
