maybe you should lend him the money or direct him to a shop ....now for your answer ASE CERTIFIED MOFO ..and then if u want to be smart, now what if your local mechanic (not backyard mechanic) doesnt meet ASE requirements then im sure since he/she works in a shop they will have access to a Car lift and tranny jack, versus doing it on the floor ..now question where would you rather have a route canal done in a backyard or a dentist office ;) ?

Do you have a new clutch kit?

I can get it done for 150 only if you got new parts to replace it. If it slips i dont want you blaming it on the install. Txt me 203-606-0059 im in new haven.

anyone who can read a book and is book smart can become ASE certified. its not like they have u do hands on crap at the test. there's tons of mechanics that are great at what they do but get confused by the wording of the question on an ASE test.
