need clutch changed for a low price, plssss

ok so why dont you lone him the money to get it done "right" as you say? why dont you tell us what a shop mechanic would do diff than a backyard one other than him having a lift? they both got wrenches n sockets, they both have to take the axels,tranny mount, and slave cylinder off. they both have to romve the clutch...resurface the flywheel if nessasary..use the alignment tool and torque the pressure plate bolts in the proper cross pattern> so i ask again mofo what is the diff other then the use of a lift and a couple hundred bucks?

maybe you should lend him the money or direct him to a shop ....now for your answer ASE CERTIFIED MOFO ..and then if u want to be smart, now what if your local mechanic (not backyard mechanic) doesnt meet ASE requirements then im sure since he/she works in a shop they will have access to a Car lift and tranny jack, versus doing it on the floor ..now question where would you rather have a route canal done in a backyard or a dentist office ;) ?

well i can trust a guy to do it plus im not gonna leave my car with anyone, im gonna stay with it. plus if it can last until my swap then i dont care and i dont race, yet, i just need to get to work, i just moved so if i had the money we wouldnt be having this discussion.

anyone who can read a book and is book smart can become ASE certified. its not like they have u do hands on crap at the test. there's tons of mechanics that are great at what they do but get confused by the wording of the question on an ASE test.
