i have this 30 year old POS mig welder my great uncle gave me. And it welds like garbage.. Im looking to replace it with a starting level MIG, mabye like a hobart or a miller. What would be a good model to look into? I do some collision work, exhaust's and misc. fabrication..
I was looking at one of those lincon migs at lowes the other day, but it looked like it was made poorly and was 120v. I used to work at a body shop for 4 years and ive always used a Hobart and it welds fu*king sweet. I just want a half way decent welder to make some nice even beads instead of my bird ************ting 30 year old POS.

ur best bet is abco buy a 220 miller setup for gas it will set u back like 1200 but its wut i use and welds like a dream and very reliable 120 welders blow no matter wut neways but ya dude def go with a 220 miller u wont be sorry!!!
