  • I need body work info

    Ok i have a 1998 ek 4 door it was hit in the back driver side bad and the quarter panel was smashed it didn't mess up the under frame the bumper support or the door jam . I had a parts car and cut out the skin and replaced it now

    my ? is this. Is the body held together with glue? or is it waled and then glued i have to bring it to dmv because it is salvaged and the rules say it has to have pics of the welds or the way it was put on i welded it but my welds aren't the best it look good but i want to pass with out any bull shit so can anyone let me know the process what do i use ?

    Well the car from factory is rivets i believe then sealed with that glue lookin shit

        its spot welded them seam seal is applied over it!

          yup then you have to drill out the spot welds one at a time {theres about a million} then take a air hammer to crack the seams.try fire for the glue with a 2 inch wide blade to take that off.then you take a dolly and beat the weld seams flat again.......
