I was lookin at a rhd conversion for an EF. Its only $450 and was wondering what exactly involved in the conv. and what to do about registering it?

its not easy, basicly have to strip the car down to the bone drill out the fire wall basicly cut the car in half and install the front clip or you can buy the clip and im sure lilphil on here would do the install

i know i would have to strip it but i was wondering the vin on the firewall would be different and if i had to go thro inspection would they let it pass?

if you are that deep into cutting the firewall how hard is to cut the vin and weld it on the new firewall?? its tampering with vins but thats the best way.

do NOT do this....im pretty sure this is illegal and its NOT illegal to do a rhd conversion, you are SUPPOSED to take pics of thoe whole conversion process, in case they question anything, if all theother vins on the car match you should be ok...how often has a cop asked to see the vin on your firewall anyway?
