    no the 2.0 is the FS motor, this is the mazda BP... the ford escort LX tranny will not fit the motor (Mazda F series trans) but the Escort GT uses the Mazda G series trans AND the Mazda BP,... just ford takes out some of the goodies as far as internals

    Stock BP 1.8 > Stock FS 2.0 tho banna
