Shit don't make sense, even from the government side. You take the car, fine the person, then crush the car.

Wouldnt it make more sense to take the car, fine the person, auction the car (most likely to someone who will be racing it on the st), catch that person, take the car, fine them, rinse and repeat.

It could be a better source of income for the state, as well as save these damn cars.

This is old... but I did watch them do this in hartford at coronas garage to a hatch that had mad stolen parts the cops had the owner/thief watch teh whole thing :)

def sad to see that, but.....if they had stolen parts, fuck em. no pity for thieves or the people they deal with. go buy legit parts and this wouldnt be a problem. cops took my car in XXXXXX. had it for over three weeks picking it apart trying to find stolen parts. to bad for them that EVERYTHNG was legit, and they had to give it back to me free of charge. no towing fees. no storage fees. no fines....do you like apples?

the reason the cars were crushed was because of the stolen parts the racing just added to it and yes they would ive seen it happen to people on the pike and no it wasnt a honda

Ya it was but. I don't feel bad, stolen shit, racing illegal and putting everyone else's life in danger.. Thats why they have a race track, people with real fast cars don't take it to the street because there smarter than that.. But I thought it was funny before they crushed the buuble , they ripped out the bubbles motor and put it next to other motors then smashed it lol.. They got Engine Depot on lock lmaooo , most of them motors probably stolen anyways
