Because I look at the overall shot, not just the car and if it doesn't meet the required criteria specified in the registration threads I don't even consider it (ie cell phone pics, people/other cars in the pics).

Also it doesn't need to have a shoot done, but when most of the entries had a shoot of some sort (or put some effort into taking a shot of their car) they are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more likely to get into the polls. I know I don't want to come to this site and see someone's cell pic they took when they came out of the mall and thought to themselves "Gee, my automobile sure does look swell as of present. I shall capture a photograph of it with my cellular telephone's camera and share it with all of my confidants!"
