The official meet thread will be created later this week and I will put that link in here as well. In the meantime... heres the 'hype' thread:
meet thread is up!!! :woot: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/north-east/145732-northeast-8thcivicfest-09-day-2-a.html ***MEET DATE IS CONFIRMED*** friday May 8th & sat May 9th. request your time off, tell your spouses, put in your permission slips, tell your neighbors, start packing now...

As some of you know, and many of you dont know, 8thcivic Fest is held each Spring in NY and has been growing each year. In 2008 we had roughly 150 8th gens (and a few others cars) and its looking like this year will have tons more.

Last year, Dave (BostonCivic77) organized a caravan down to the event on the day of for all members from MA/CT/RI. We met up near Hartford, CT and caravaned down through CT and into NY with about 15 people.

Dave and I will be looking to do virtually the same thing this year... but I know there has been a great increase in 8th users from New England in the past year. Thus, we are hoping to significantly increase our numbers so we can represent New England in style.

Last year we had no members from ME, VT or NH... but hopefully a few of you will join us this year.

Plans are still tentative, but as things get confirmed, I will be sure to update this post.

Looks like a real good time any1 interested its about an hr away from Danbury should be a fun caravan

You didn't get in line with all the other kids. you never really cared about where you sat at the lunch table or which clique you were in then or what club you are in now. you knew that the best way to live was by doing what you wanted not just what you were told. soon everyone else began to notice. you wanted to go your own way. and you did
