1500 miles, 6 states, 3 days... An absolute blast of driving..

We are currently at 30 cars this year... This will be my 5th year in a row doing NER, and every year I love it more...

Speeding is highly discouraged... But I will be honest... A lot of people do it... Its a RUN, not a race, but people still speed... Total Asshattery will get you booted from the rally though (Passing on double yellows, breakdown lanes, etc)..

I'd say stay away from Skimobile because he's a cop magnet, but he won't be doing the rally this year because his car went boom (again)...

EDIT: And although it may not be Gumball/Bullrun, we sure know how to party our asses off at the hotels just as good as, if not better than the Gumballers/Bullruners (Although I'll have to update this mid-july, since I'll be partying with Bullrun this year)

When you do rallies/poker runs, the decals are all for sponsors of the rally/run to help keep costs down.. Its about driving, not a car show...

Do it... Its worth every penny... We've had an EF, EM1, DC5, & DC2 all do it over the years..

Its $800/car, which is $400/person since you can have 2 people in the car... That includes 2 hotels, sticker package, multiple meals along the way, special event (Last year we got to do hellrides in rally cars at Team ONeils private Rally course... INSANE!)..

I know thats alot of money, especially in this economy, but its worth every penny... My fiancee and I are BROKE this year (Wedding, addition to our house, just opened a new business, etc), but we are still scraping the funds together for this because we love it every year.

GUARANTEED you will see parts of new england you had no clue ever existed... Not to mention this year there is supposed to be somebody bringing a bugatti veyron, Matt Farah is supposed to be attending to film an episode of The Smoking Tire, my buddy Tom will have his Exige S240, and alot of other badass cars you will get to drive alongside..
