^^i dont why that bs is up there lol. if this and only if you guys wanted it to work which i can clearly see is not happening and wont happen wanted this to work we would have to have an agreement. saying if we wanna race you guys we have to come to you is almost like streetracing with noobies.(no pun attended)

i have another question what would have happen and im just saying if we came to you and your cars broke and again had mechanical failure and we trecked 3-4 hours and beat every racer. this has happen every evo from mass didnt win but won almost 90% of them that night, what happens then?. shutting down a meet state vs state because of travel doesnt make since. a whole bunch of ct guys come to the dragway for ifo events.

I tried and tried to made this happpen it looks like it wont happen. this was a simple hey grab your best 15 and i grab my best 15 lets meet at the track then in a month or 2 come to have the rematch. we are not agreeing or anything where making this waaaaaay to complex and its not that serious.

if you guys do decide to wanna kick this off this let me know so can get mass guys together and figure who would best represent us. i would like to do a short promo video with the guranteed guys from both sides.

and let me say this if this meet dont happen it not because mass guys didnt wanna make it happen i stuck my hand out and tried to have a meeting of the minds. i can speak for every racing import from mass. which this would backfire on me but hey its life. half of us wouldnt wanna make the trek to you guys but would. especially for a rematch and to represent our state.

then why dont we do a 2 part race then it would make since. one at the start of summer at ned and the one at lebanon in august. it would only be fare and right . and im pretty sure if either side lose they would want a rematch.

i live 2 hours away from the track im not close im from boston but dont live there. breaking is a gurantee on both sides we just gotta have a meeting of the minds. and do the math 15 cars from you guys and 15 from us $100 a head. thats $3,000 in who ever wins. thats alot of bread for any winner nevertheless a street car.

have you ever considered actually doing this? renting 2 tracks during the summer? do you know the cost of a track rental? that $100 per head isn't even going to cover the track rental fees, let alone give you enough money to have a pot.

further, you don't have dates set up yet. call lebanon and tell them you want to rent the track in august.

1- that limits you to fridays only
2- that's the height of car season, i doubt any fridays will even be available.

i think this is a good idea, there's something being worked on behind the scenes already, but you need to plan more. gaining interest in february isn't likely something that will work out this year.

on one last note- this is a CT based forum. of course we have members in surrounding states. lebanon and e-town are both 2 hours away, people are going to want to go there as opposed to NED, regardless of what the people on turbooptions and importtech (two forums i've never heard of) think or want to do.

..and we are trying to meet halfway with you- to get more people involved. CT isn't refusing your offer. We're just trying to be honest about what the turnout might become based on other events that have been setup. It's nothing personal, I just know CT people would participate if an event was held at lebanon.

Pretty sure if you wanted to you could have a lot more then 15 cars each state. I don't kno if your tryin to have only fast fast cars go or have a full mass vs CT track day. I kno I'm going if I'm racing or watchin.. great idea n leabanon valley a must roads suck to raceway park n its 3 good hours I dunno how many pep tryin to drive there turbo cars 3 hours then race then the long ride home..

1. no dates was set because before i did that i wanted some ideas like i stated in opening thread

2. didnt wanna rent a track reason being wanted it to be a regular street night event. we have been to the track doing this with other makes and the track we had to ourselves the whole night because like i stated the track is pretty empty after 5pm.

3. doing a state vs state street event outside of hondas would have been my 3rd so doing something like this is easy for me. like i stated in the opening thread wanted some ideas and see if you wanted to do it.

4. the 15 car limit came from prior events i did at the track and instead of having 100 cars the best 15 would have been more interesting.

i met halfway this whole time agreeing to do a 2 part race. but again that was shot down unless we come in your backyard.

Let me say this i wasnt looking for a crazy outstanding event. i was simply looking for 15 street cars from mass to race 15 street cars from ct at the track on a street night that was all. its nothing diff from a street race if i went into the call out thread and said whoever from ct wanna streetrace call me i got cars from mass coming down whats the diff?

starting problems aint my thing if any feel tho i calling you out my bad because im not. i just wanted to get guys from ct to come down and race mass guys then a rematch in your backyard. if mass guys are willing to come down to you guys track why cant ya do the same.

that's how CT gets down, we rent tracks, not hop in line at test n tunes hoping to make it all work.

def not that type of guy bro if im coming off that way my fault. we def dont have it out for anybody especially here in mass if any we have it out for each other all these one uppers and hater this way. i just thought a friendly little event on street night could have came into something bigger.

im from the south so when we decide to do something like this we just pick the baddest cars in town and send them down to the track thats all. i just that one evening of seeing new faces and cars would and could have turned into something waaaaaaay bigger then it could have let up to a red sox vs yankees match later down the road.

but hey we never know, see life is to short for the bullshit this car thing is what i do to enjoy myself and relief stress. and a little competition would have been nice.
