Hey CTV I blew my k20 in a bad mis shift 5th to 2nd and I'm changing motors put. Problem is that every forum I check and everything on google says the motor comes out from the bottom...WTF!! I'm at home and im broke so paying a shop is not an option and I'm nervous of dropping my subframe . Sooo has any on pulled this motor out the top and can I get some input or advice please? .. Greatly appreciate any help thanx p.s car is an 02 rsx base 5 spd

Alot of them say that its easier from the bottom because its so easy to do it that way on a lift. Just like the 08 civic si. I do them at work all the time but it can be done from the top too. I just removed tbe engine from my Si at home from the top. No harder than removing it from an older Civic.

I just have to undo the suspension, axles, and mounts. I have removed the harness all my hoses and lines ,I broke the a/c line (fuck!). I'm pretty deep in to it . I dnt really see any issues other then clearence . I've never done a car like this ive always done single cams so I've been a little worried. Also how or where do I attach my chain from my hoist to the motor I dnt see any hooks??? Only one on the tranny.

Use bolts for the motor mount
