In my opinion k is the way ...u don't have to listen to me but a stock k guaranteed u will be on a fully built b series ass all the way or even beat one...trust me ur looking at 220 stock with a good tune when it's gonna take a fully built b series to even break 200 whp...think about it do the math...spend the 5 to 6k on a stock 2.0 making 220's to the wheel or waste ur money fully built a b series amd maybe make like 15 to 20 more hp?

This guy has a point a k series will be on the b series ass but it wont beat it k's are good if you bought them in an rsx type-s using them for a race purpose is unpracticle. K series first of are well known to drop valves its just a common issues they have. The whole K swap is old but there still far from proven as the b series. My friends k20/k24 turbo civic hb is running in the 9's on low boost. So yes they produce alot of power but there is so much money in the motor the cost vs what you get out of it isnt a fair trade off. The whole concept of being able to repair the motor at the track is something im oging to touch on again the track causes most things that can break to break. so repairs are definatly a concern money wise you will spend a shit tone of money on doing the swap and so on that if you break something there goes your car and if its your daily driver well pretty much out of luck. Now if you want to be real baller put a 13b from an RX7 with a k series tranny banna
