k swap: oem or aftermarket?

Ok so I'm working on my second k swap. On my first swap I used a shifter box and cables from an oem 02 type s. I know k tuned makes a shifter box should I go aftermarket on the shifter box/cables? or keep it oem?

If the first swap work fine with them shifter boxes why not go the same route n save money n put it somewhere else on the car

Yeah I know it works fine and all but Idk if I want to go a diff route money isn't an issue at all so it doesn't matter if it cost more or what cost less. I just want to know if it works out better and if its worth it. Feel me
