  • WTF!!!...2nd alternator blown

    i blew my stock alternator during the summer nd i figured that was from havin my system on nd pumpin the ac...so i sold my system nd replaced my alternator with one from carquest nd that one blew lass nite...nd im thinkin its either from not havin my wheel well in nd drivin in the rain...or from fri nite i was drivin REALLY reckless...lmk wut u think...btw if anyone has an alternator off k20a3 lmk

      your best bet is to get one from the dealer it self i heard auto zone and carquest arent the best for ************ like that

        only way youll know is if you take it apart, and inspect it.

        but you have a warranty through carquest...use it.

        oh and check the voltage at it, will ya.

          i no theres nothin better than oem...but i dint have much pesos...so i went wit the cheapest,,,nd now im payin the price.lol
          imma chek on that warranty but wen i bought it i got it at shop price...the guy dint even charge me tax...don have ne reciept or papers...

            96% of autopart international/carquest alternators are rebuilt OEM units. unless you got it new from them (IE: no core charge), you have a rebuilt OEM alternator.

                  I figured out my problem...it was my battery that sh!t was shot...bad battery=blown alternator....btw I took my batt. to advanced nd they said it was jz fine...fcuk them!lol
