I own a dynojet but I'll try to be unbiased.
DD is a superior tuning machine. You can hold a steady rpm and watch the hp/tq in real-time as you making tuning changes for a specific load cell. They are much much more expensive which makes them more rare. Yes they will spit out numbers less than a dynojet.
Dynojet uses an inertia sweep so there is no input as far as vehicle weight to affect the numbers. Dynojets are going to put out the same numbers no matter which dyno you go to. (I know this isnt always true in practice as I've had many customers claim they made way more HP somewhere else but there are too many variables there). Dynojet is what you want if you just want to get hp numbers and compare them to somebody else. Dynojets are common and cheaper.
Let me put it this way... If I sold my dynojet I would have to take that money and triple it in order to buy a DD dyno. But IF I had that much money I would do it. But I had a DD dyno and I wanted to get a hp number to post up on teh forums and compare to my friends... I would go find a dynojetBOOSTComment

Well see, with an expensive system like that all you have to do is enter the year make and model and it inputs it for you.
Now, yes they do read different but DD always reads lower.
