Damn ain't think about that. I think I'll get the a4 for now and if I want some more hp down the road I'll upgrade. Plus once built up with mild mods here and there it should make some good hp.

what are you trying to find out? Is it possible to swap in a k24, yea..you'll need to modify the mounts. Is it worth it, yea, the k24a4 is just missing the oil squirters from the a2 and doesn't have as high compression. But, people who swap k24 usually swap the internals and run k20 heads.I K ALL DAY

^if you're going to buy a longblock to change out the rods and pistons you're better off with a k24a1,a4 or a8. there is no point in buying a tsx longblock unless you plan to use the entire longblock.
it'll be more cost efficient to use a k24a1,a4 or a8 longblock, buying a set of rods and pistons and sending it off to a machine shop to get assembled. then slap on your head with any choice of cams and you're good to go.Last edited by spdandpwr; 09-06-2011, 04:43 PM.I K ALL DAY

Buy a longnlock a4, a2 cams/gears, kpro, and get a good tune you'll be amazed at what new age ls vtec can do...u can get away with using base axles and a harness out of an ep3 or base rsx the most expensive part is kpro which will cost 800 plus ecu. Jump k20a.org there's a lot of info on there take ur time and read thru the forums
