if you're going for intakes, get a 3.5" intake from importdps...it made the most power and comes right around the same price as an injen or whatever.

If you're going n/a, stick with RDX injectors, bigger injectors tend to have startup/ crank issues that need to be tuned out and with the really big injectors (ID1000s) sometimes you can't even tune it out.

You should get a dyno tune and street tune to make the most power and to ensure the best reliability. Dyno from evans and street tune from e-tunez.

3" exhausts makes the most peak power, but you lose some torque, better off staying 65-70mm, def don't get anything smaller.

RSX oil pump swaps are pretty cheap and free up some power and will allow your motor to rev higher (assuming you have cams first)

IPS makes the best cams, hands down. Junk2 cams are only good for peak numbers, and the rest have had reliability issues or issues with their cams being poorly grinded.
Great Info, u mention evans how about xenocron?? what header u think is good im tryna find one with a 3 inch collector but i cant

check honda-tech theres multiple dealers that make race header replicas that are actually nice. youre looking at 450 shipped to your door. honestly if i owned the car i would get kpro before i got anything else. fuck that terrible throttle response time.

lol save yourself a few dollars and just go boosted. its nice to do all motor set ups but boost is were it is at with those motors. Trust me with a few thousand dollars you will be in the 400 hp league. and daily driven with no problems. and if your in the ct area check out dave. He will give you a reallllyyyy nicee tune for your 8th. Im living proof.

yea, full race makes really good kits. I'd skip AJP, SRT, Greddy, and the TSI kits..they have issues/problems.

What mods do you have done to your 8th? I had a custom intake, exhaust, and hytech hearder with rdx injectors, rrc manifold, and a j35 tb. Was going to do cams but I got off the honda boat in favor of a new acura.

they use flashpro to tune 8th gens and the kid racing header is 450, but doesn't come with a 3" collector and you need to weld the slip joints.

great for mid-range and you can prolly gain 2-3hp up top. I'd get them since they're cheap to find and are good at making the car more dd-able. But if you're looking for outright power, check out Drag Cartel or Kelford for Stage 1 cams...they work with your stock valve train. If you want to get fancier, I've seen people swap in Dual Valve springs from the s2k -- I don't know much about that swap though.

Im gonna do a Cartel cam or KE after my K24 block is built i wanna see what the stock motor can do....but yo what about after a tune shouldnt a tune be able to extract some ponies from the TSX cam... Yo another thing do i need both cams or just esxhaust because i heard the Z3 Intake cams was aggresive as hell lmk

Yea, with tuning tsx cams won't net that much more power top-end power. It's still an OEM cam meant for a bigger, lower revving motor. Basically: TSX cams > z3 cams > rsx cams. If you're gonna go with a k24 and build out the motor, you can get the rsx type-s oil pump conversion which will give you a couple of ponies.

Lol, I know my stuff and I've proved that in the PCD thread on the 2g forums...I just act strange on the chat thread because everyone else does...it's like the least serious place in the world.

I wanted to do that with the z3 but im afraid of getting rid of the internal balance i wonder if something is more prone to faak up...i know it might vibrate more that dont bother me as long as it doesnt feel like knock

The vibrations are almost non-existent...its the time it takes to install and the skill level required that makes it prohibitive.
