  • 06 Civic Si Transmission

    Hey CTVtec,
How is it going everyone? It has been a while since I have posted on the site. The navy has been keeping me busy as hell.

I guess I will get straight to the point. I have an '06 Civic Si and I am pretty sure the throwout bearing is going. I went to the Honda Dealer here in Groton and they are complete dick heads. I am going to buy a new clutch assembly (clutch disk, pressure plate and throwout bearing).

I was wondering if anybody near me (Groton, CT) has experience in replacing the clutch assembly on a K-Series transmission. I am sure it is not to different from other clutches. I myself do not have experience in replacing a clutch and I am asking for help.

I have tools but I don't really have the place or jack and stands to do it. If someone would be willing to help me out that would be great. I am not asking for free help. So let me know the price. I am a bit strapped right now because of some personnel crap that happened last month, but I think we can work something out.

    Thank you,
    Sean
