DC5 buy and motor info HELP!!!!

ok so im gunna buy a new car pretty much decided on a dc5 im under the impression that the 05 type s is the one i want because the 06 motor did not come with the K20Z1 rated at 210 hp it came with the one rated at 201 hp now is this just a measureing diffrence or is the motor actualy diffrent because i know the 05 came with Higher performance camshafts sourced from the Type-R engine An enlarged throttle body sourced from the Type-R engine Air intake duct enlarged for increased air flow Larger diameter exhaust pipes to increase exhaust flow obtained from the Type-R model
Catalytic converter optimized to reduce exhaust backpressure and 6-speed transmission optimized with a lower final gear ratio for quicker acceleration and carbon synchronizers replacing brass on 5th and 6th gears for a smoother shift feel so can somone please let me know if im on the right path or if im just being filled with smoke by somone that aparently knows wat he's talking about

the motor is the same in the 05-06... in 2006 they switched to a dif method of measuring hp that is 9hp higher than the old method.. as for the trannys.. they both suck lol if you want a good tranny swap it out with an 06^ si tranny or an rsx base tranny.. theres the 2nd gear grind and the 3rd gear pop outs in our trannys.. all in all i perfer the 02 04 over the 05 06.. theres roughly a 10 bhp difernce between the models.. who cares.. from what ive read the 02 04s have better hhandeling when lowered too

umm base trannys suck balls maybe ur thinkin ep3 trannys...nd def not worth it unless ur goin boost,dc5's are fast off the line bcuz of the 6spd...

plus there's a service bulletin on 02-06 6spd rsx's (I believe there is on si's as well) for the 3rd gear pop out

if you gonna spend money on a rsx you should check jdm-dc5 thread cause his rsx is freshh. for what you spend on an 05-06 you can buy his which has already all the money your prob. gonna spend on yours.

x2 i had a 03 type s n the shit ran like a bitch and i use to take turns at 90 n nuttin happened. no hoppin or sliding bro. just get a 02-04 type s u wont regret it

my bois 06 type s doesnt take 3rd gear at allllll. if i was u ill get a ep3 tranny if ur boostin or if ur going all motor stick with the type s tranny. its not really all dat bad
