tranny problem..

ok well heres what happens, shifting from first to second right before redline it rejects me and grinds real bad.. now if i let off the gas a little before i shift then it will go into second fine. i just changed the tranny fluid with enos.. still same thing. now i spoke to a tech at acura and he thinks another posiblity could be the clutch because this wasnt happening before the clutch was put in ( a month or so ago ) its a stg 2 competition clutch. another thing that i notice is when the car is ideling after about 10 20 seconds i hear a rateling noise which i think is the bearing but when i press the clutch in the rateling stops..

I had the same simptoms as you did and the same clutch set up. I pulled my tranny down after the problems got worse and come to find out the damn spring popped out of the clutch disk. I upgraded to a CC stage 4 and havent had a problem since. Good luck.

wat kind of tranny was yours same thing? and just dropped the car off at acura so getting it checked out right now

i have the same problem but i have the stock clutch people think its my driving sayin i cant drive but i new it wasnt me....i heard it is the sinkcruels (however thats spelt) because now my tranny is hard ti get into first

it could be the pressure plate not lettin it get into gears..either way u will have to take it apart and just place a new clutch kit with pressure plate and bearings..im pretty sure its not the tranny..g/l
