i got a 93 eg coupe with a jdm h22a w/ f22 tranny it wont go in reverse when it came out of my boys car the tranny shifted fine all gears did the swap and i cant get into reverse any ideas

is it possible that you bent the shift fork?

are the shift cables routed and hooked up properly?

you can disconnect the cables and "force" the levers into reverse. give that a try. if it doesn't go into reverse there's a problem with the tranny. otherwise there's a problem with the way you hooked up the cables

yea i'd go with the shift linkage. make sure it's not wedged in the rear motor mount.
