upgrades before turbo?

was thinking abut boosting my accord its an f series with headers and a full 2.5in exhaust what do i have to do to my internals before i boost it i only want to boost 8lbs or less

Just do a stock rebuild to freshen it and get some arp hardware.

alright but i figured if i was gunna rebuild why not upgrade a little bit and i planned on getting arp head studs

bore and hone to 86mm.bisimoto aris 9.1 piston and rod combo.have crank polished.check clearances.put together and tune it.

ARP Stud it and call it a day. those engines with a good tune can hold boost well. iv seen them 8, 10, 12 psi with a t3, several times all stock. Iv heard of 15 psi with a 14b dsm turbo but never saw it myself, all stock internals Bottom line is ur gonna here ppl tell u 100 different things. Your tune is everything tho. without that, keep ur wallet full of money for a new engine mang. but 8psi with a t03 nonvtec will bring u ruffly to a 200 range.. u might want to look into a swap and compare prices, js. power is power and $ is still $

The pistons on those f series are designed differently than the h series, the ringlands are set lower, They also feature steel sleeves unlike the h's frm sleeve. Boost it and enjoy
