H22 Vtec Dosnt Work??

Okay so when i drive and hit (vtec) wich is at (5,500 rpms)
Nothing happens. You dont hear the cross over (broken vtec)

I checked oil levels - there fine

What do you think is wrong??

BUT MY VTEC WORKED BEFORE WHEN IT WAS ON TOO. But now it dosnt

so get it scanned, figure out what its there for and then ask

Vtec worked while it was on that wouldnt be the reason

have u bottomed out recently? check ur oil pan see if it has a dent on it if so it could be that the dent could be blocking the oil pick up! that shyt happen to me and i couldnt figure out what it was for number i dropped my oil pan banged out the dent and put it back on and it was as good as new

Run ur cel's again. i had a bad ect sensor and wouldnt allow vtec to engage.. if the ecu dosnt kno the engine is at n.o.t, it wont allow vtec to opperate

Make sure your oil pan is not dented.. Even a small amount can block the pickup enough to stop vtec from engaging I have seen it happen.
