I need to know what makes up the differences in the strokes weather it's in the crank or the rods or the pin hight to top of piston need to put my motor back together and I want to use h22 pistons in my h23 and I need to know if the pin hight on the pistons is the same and that the rods and crank are different please help me! any h22 piston will fit an h23 block. If you can do it to an h22 (97 block pending), you can do it to the h23. Both have the same bores, deck height, and same cylinder material. Be weary of the piston compression height you choose because if you choose a 11:1 h22 piston, the stroke of the h23 crank and the relatively long rods considering the stroke will bump compression to the 12:1 range.
for the amount of stroke and compression you are looking to run, i personally would run a little more aggressive cam than the mild crower 2. Skunk2 Pro1 seems like a good candidate.Follow me on instavtec @steaksauce
