h22 cel code help

i have a check engine code on my h22, code #8. ( 8 quick flashes) i read that code was ( top dead center sensor)which suppose to be a sensor inside the dizzy and that the only way to fix it is by replacing the dizzy.

i borrow the same dizzy from my boy and still getting the same code. CAN ANYONE HELP?
