ive done it with just washers and longer bolts its fine i had to use alot of jb weld and silicone tho

ive seen it done not a good idea me and my boy just picked up a coupe wit a h2b in it wit no plate shit was held 2gether with 2 screws 1 in the front of the block near the h22 stamp and 1 throgh the starter bolt not a good idea
