  • Wiring the external coil to the dizzy

    I replaced my distributor and the usdm one doesn't have an internal coil. I have a blaster2 coil that im trying to wire into it, just dont remember how :confused: If anyone knows how to wire the external coil to the distributor or can find a link...lmk. Ive been searching honda-tech and google but had no luck, i must be searching wrong. Thanks for any info

      EXTERNAL IGNITION COIL will have 3 wires coming out of it. 2 connect to the distributor and 1 goes to a power source.:
      GRN@coil, GRN@dizzy - connects coil to dizzy
      YEL@coil, BLK/YEL@dizzy- connects coil to dizzy (should be a LARGE wire)
      BLK/YEL - connects coil to power source.

          external coils are gay, just make yours internal...you can use single cam parts like the coil and the rotor..just get an internal coiled h22 cap..

            i have an internal cap...and i think i still have the internal coil from the old dizzy. not sure if it works and don't really know how to put all that sh!t together...

              im pretty sure u could use a 99-00 civic si distributor cap.. just bring ur jdm cap with you 2 autozone or where ever ur goin and ask for a 99-00 si cap and take a look at it b4 u buy it.. cuz im pretty sure my boy took one of mine and put it on his double duce just to see if it fit cuz he had a crack in his from gettin it shippin from JAPAN lol.. but yea just take a look at it before u buy it

                i have the cap...im trying to wire in the blaster coil because there is no internal coil on the usdm dizzy i got. I have two caps, the stock jdm one and a usdm one. If im going to wire the oem internal coil that i had before, i need to know how

                        My Opinion, Just wire in the Stock H22 External coil, I've been using the same Dizzy with the OEM External Coil for years with no problems. F u c k MSD, sh!t is Bunk. OEM Honda Parts FTW!!!!!
