My oil light comes on after i race or crack vtec. Just checked my oil its at the second ********* on the dip stick so were good there and its clean. So why is my light coming on?

Oil pump or sending unit is it on at high rpms or just at idle need more info

Not on at first but after a race its on at idle steady while i drive it flashes

Oil pump. If to care about your motor don't drive it you will blow the motor I found out the hard way you got two options new pump or rebuild the old one rebuilding is cheaper and its a pain in the ass to change you might as well do new belts timing belt tensioner and water pump too new oil pan gaskets and valve cover gaskets too you gotta take everything apart I drove my car for a week like that and it finally blew good luck

Haha that's what I did but my SIS payed for it and I went from a h22 to a h23.bluetop but fuck if its a single save the money and get a pump from the junkyard
