h22 engine ?

im buying the top half of a h22 but I don't no the mileage it has on it.....how much does the mileage effect the top half...because I want to use it to start my H build but I just want to make sure it will run strong for a while

First are you going to do a rebuild on the motor???cuz if thats the case you dont have to worry much about mileage since your gona be replacing components (valve seals,cam seal,gaskets etc.)

yea im gonna replace seals and gaskets

i would change the valve seals, and make sure the valves dont have any damage, i would also check the cam caps and seats to make sure they arent scored, also make sure the block it came off didnt overheat and warp the head
