  • F22 Help...

Ok so my friends accord is acting up and asked me to look at it. I looked at the motor and nothing is out of the ordinary. Checked all the wires, plugs, vacuum hoses, etc. I started the car and its starts right up but I noticed that the engine light was on and blinking. Also the motor was making a knocking sound. I'm thinking its one of the rods but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone can shed some light on this situation?

I checked the car again and now I not so sure its the rods. There is a knocking or ticking sound but I'm thinking its coming from the valve train. The car idles fine so I revved the car up and the knocking/ticking didn't get any louder. But the engine light is still has a steady blink so I know there is something wrong. I told her just to get the car scanned so she can know what the engine light code is.
